Katherine & Mark’s Drive Thru Treasure Island Wedding During Covid-19
Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on the wedding and events industry, but it cannot stop the love. But for awesome clients like Katherine & Mark, they were committed to getting married one way or the other regardless of how many people could attend!Read More
It’s Mad Science – A Corporate Holiday Party
When our corporate client reached out to us early last year with their hopes of upping their holiday party game – we were excited to take it on! The attendees last year had a colorful and sweet experience around a Willy Wonka themed party. So we were excited to take on the challenge of maintaining a wow factor of being transported to another place, while bringing a different design look and feel. We came up with this Mad Scientist theme that we felt spoke to their specific employee audience really well! Here’s the custom lookbook we created for them:Read More

Original logo design by Kyle Wai Lin in 2015:
Well, as a self-proclaimed “Efficiency Nerd” and former Administrative Assistant at Google who used to teach efficiency workshops, I know a thing or two about staying organized on email. I also know what it’s like to be an entrepreneur who doesn’t have time for email.Read More

Ringing in 2020 with FUNKINLOVE!
2019 was filled with so many incredible milestones for the Make It Mariko team. This was a special event for us because it was a celebration of the new decade, Gina’s birthday, and the 4th anniversary of Make It Mariko. On her 30th birthday, Gina created Make It Mariko as a gift to herself. Over the years, the team has grown and evolved and we’re excited to see what this new decade has in store for us!
To celebrate the start of a new decade, we threw our first ever New Year’s Eve party! We collaborated with our Undiscovered event partners 7th West and Creative Transit Agency plus Full Out Studios to pull off this amazing celebration. Read More
