Vendor Request For Proposals – LOVE THY CITY Industry Showcase 03.03.26
We’re excited to announce this unique vendor opportunity to showcase your business & brand in front of some of the Bay Area’s most talented and influential creatives, business owners, and tastemakers.
The Event
“LOVE THY CITY”
A Decade of Community Creativity, Connection, and Magic
Tuesday March 3, 2026
LOVE THY CITY is a community-powered celebration honoring 10 years of Make It Mariko and the creative communities, small businesses, and culture-makers who make San Francisco what it is.
Blending an anniversary celebration with live performances, creative vendor activations, and a good ol’ industry party, the event is designed as our love letter to The City – celebrating the people who continue to shape it through creativity, resilience, and collaboration.
The Venue: The Foundry SF

More than just an event space, the recently renovated The Foundry SF is a living piece of San Francisco’s dynamic history (built in 1936), reimagined for your next unforgettable gathering. While you know them today as The Foundry, their roots run deep in the vibrant SoMa district, embodying a legacy of transformation and creativity.
At The Foundry SF, we believe spaces shape experiences. Our mission is to be a canvas for San Francisco’s most inspired gatherings — a place where artists, innovators, brands, and communities come together to create something memorable.
Invited Attendees
Vendors will be featured in front of a curated guest list of 200+ people that includes:
- San Francisco leaders, tastemakers, and creatives
- Bay Area industry professionals and business leaders (CEOs, Marketing Managers, Brand and partnership decision-makers)
- Invited San Francisco and Bay Area civic and political leaders and organization leaders
This audience is intentionally curated to prioritize relationship-building, influence, and future opportunity, not mass attendance.

Vendor Participation Model
This event operates on an in-kind / donated services model.
Selected vendors will donate their goods or services to be featured as part of the event experience. In exchange, vendors receive high-visibility promotion and direct exposure to a targeted audience of industry leaders, decision-makers, and potential clients.
This opportunity is best suited for vendors who:
- Value strategic visibility and brand alignment
- Are seeking access to new partnerships, clients, or bookings
- Want to be positioned as leaders within San Francisco’s creative and events ecosystem
What Vendors Receive
Selected vendors will receive:
- Inclusion on The Foundry’s Preferred Vendors list for 1 Year (Pending performance during the event itself. The Foundry reserves the right to remove vendors at any time due to non-performance or misalignment.)
- Brand visibility before, during, and after the event, including:
- Newsletter promotion (to over 6K+ people interested in events)
- Social media promotion
- Inclusion in event marketing materials
- On-site signage and logo recognition
- High quality event photography post-event (each vendor will be featured at least once in photos, but we cannot guarantee an actual # of total photos featuring your business. We encourage Vendors to bring their own photographer to get targeted marketing shots that represent your brand.)
- Direct exposure to a high-level, invitation-only audience
- Opportunities for content capture and storytelling
- A select # of Invitations to share with select clients and VIP guests of your choosing
- Opportunity to be added to Make It Mariko’s Preferred Vendor list for future client events (corporate, nonprofit, festivals, and weddings)
