Gina Mariko Rosales is a social impact entrepreneur, event producer, and cultural curator based in San Francisco. She is Founder & CEO of Make It Mariko and Executive Director of Brave New Spaces, and has co-founded initiatives including UNDISCOVERED SF, Balay Kreative, and Weddings In Color. A former Head of Marketing Events at Google X, Gina has generated $1.5M+ in economic activity for 250+ BIPOC small businesses and artists – building platforms for transformation, joy, and community power.

Gina’s mission is to curate creative, inclusive, and diverse spaces in the events industry while amplifying the voices of creatives of color.

Gina Mariko Rosales is a powerhouse social impact entrepreneur, event producer, and cultural curator based in San Francisco. She is the Founder & CEO of Make It Mariko, an award-winning events agency led by women of color, and Executive Director of Brave New Spaces. Gina has co-founded several cultural initiatives – including UNDISCOVERED SF, Pinayista, Balay Kreative, Weddings In Color, MINTED SF, and the POC Food & Wine Festival  – each designed to amplify the voices of creatives of color.

Before launching her own ventures, Gina spent over a decade in corporate and nonprofit event planning, including several years at Google and Google X, where she served as Head of Marketing Events working on Self-Driving Cars.

Gina’s mission is to create magical, meaningful experiences that remind people of the beauty and interconnectedness in life. Through her work, she has transformed grassroots ideas into city-wide movements – generating $1.5M+ in economic activity for 250+ BIPOC small businesses and artists over the past decade – all while challenging the status quo and paving the way for the next generation of event experience curators.
