- Craft SF inspired cocktails curated by The Foundry SF team (This will be a “cash bar” event. $1 from every signature cocktail will be donated to local events nonprofit Brave New Spaces.)
- Sweet Treats by Bad Walter’s Bootleg Ice Cream, Ube Area, and Frozen Kuhsterd
- Zero Proof wine & beverage tastings by Abstinence Spirits, Fly Wines, KACE Tea, Ikenga Wines, and Junbi Matcha

PLEASE NOTE: All food & non-alcohol drink tastings are complimentary, but this will be a “cash bar” event. $1 from every drink will be donated to Brave New Spaces, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to building strong, connected communities through impactful events.

A Note From Our Founder & CEO, Gina Mariko
Ten years. A whole ass decade.
It’s so wild to say that. When I started Make It Mariko 10 years ago, after tragic family loss, I wasn’t chasing longevity – I was searching for connection, purpose, and community. I wanted to create spaces where people felt seen, celebrated, and truly together.
I didn’t know what to expect starting a business. I only knew that I wanted it to matter. I wanted my life to be meaningful.
Reaching ten years feels surreal. This milestone isn’t just about growth or survival – it’s about becoming. Becoming a better leader. Learning when to push and when to pause. When to hold on and when to let go.
For those who know me, you know symbolism matters. Ten represents completion and renewal – a full circle moment that carries wisdom, lessons, and clarity forward. This business has lived many lives, shaped by seasons of reinvention, resilience, pivots, and pride.
To our team, collaborators, clients, and community – OUR “DAY ONES” – thank you for believing in this work and building it with us. LOVE THY CITY is our love letter to San Francisco and to the creatives and artists who continue to show up for this city, and more importantly – for one another.
Ten years in, I feel clearer than ever about what we’re here to do.
