Brown is Beautiful is an original production created by the team at Make It Mariko. It’s always a joy when we get to create magic and celebrate our own vision while uplifting diverse creatives & entrepreneurs.

Goals & Challenges

  1. To celebrate the beautiful community of POC vendors, creatives, and entrepreneurs that surround us and bless us with their talent in the Bay Area and create a space for their JOY.
  2. Design a fashion-forward cocktail party & reception honoring brown & black joy and creativity, while uplifting local vendors & creatives.
